Worshipping God is an essential part of the Christian community.  To forget this would leave a hole in the heart of the church, because one of the church's purposes is to be a worshipping community.  Below are some statements of what we at Crossroads’ believe worship to be.

Connecting to God and People

Worship is the intimate connection between ourselves and God. It may occur in either an indivdual or a corporate, community setting. Often, one will spark the other.

A Community Event and a Lifestyle Choice

Worship is more than the Sunday morning service. It involves choosing to come into the presence of God everyday.

Full of Freedom

Worship is an act of love toward God. As members of God's family we all show love differently and have been given the freedom to worship God according to how we were created.

A Celebration

The gathering together of a community of believers for the celebration of Christ includes both remembrance and anticipation as essentials elements of worship.
