Missionary Support

Crossroads contributes to sponsorship of missionaries financially and through prayer and personal correspondence.  The missionaries currently being sponsored are:

• Ryan and Katie Bartlett, who train pastors and work with Child Care Ministries in Malawi, Africa
• Kevin and Nancy Dunbar, who will leave soon for a new assignment in Venezuela

Childcare Support in Congo

Crossroads financially sponsors several children from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DROC).  We have chosen to concentrate our efforts on one county in order to better develop our connection to the church and people there.  Our correspondence with these children helps us become more cognizant of the variety and the similarity of the world’s people.

Currently it is estimated that 2.33 million Congolese and nearly 234,000 refugees from neighboring countries are displaced due to fighting.  Even for those who aren’t refugees, the average annual income per person is only about $110 US.   With our sponsorships, Crossroads helps to feed, clothe, educate, and provide medical care for children in desperate situations; demonstrates Gods love to them; and causes us to grow in our love for them and for God.
