Prayer

Prayer at Crossroads
Why do we pray?
Prayer is simply our conversation with God. Just as we converse and communicate with our friends, we talk with God. We share with God what is on our heart, affecting our life and we listen to what God is saying to us.
What does prayer look like?
Prayer can be as simple as talking to God in our heart while we sit over a cup of coffee at Starbucks, or as carefully involved as planning a community service where we come together and pray over a sick friend or about an injustice.
We believe that prayer is the life-breath to ministry. It is the heart and soul behind all that we do. It is the power which enables us to serve one another and the community around us. It is the place where we plunge deeper into our relationship with God
Everything that we do at Crossroads is rooted and grounded in prayer
